John Deere , at the begianing of the war, used a welded angle iorn type front end support. On As and Bs they went to a cast iorn frame in approximatly 1943. Bs with serial number range136662-166999 had the cast frame. Then they went back to the angle iorn one to the time the late styled B came at #201000, which had the hated pressed metal front end support. As were similar.
