JohnT (or anybody): When Sam said "antifreeze movement", it reminded me of an incident that occurred years ago. I charged a tractor cooling system with antifreeze (ethylene glycol) and water in preparation for winter, then started the engine to let in run for a while to warm up and mix the coolant. To my surprise, the engine soon overheated--and I mean OVERHEATED. The tractor's cooling system was sound. It took me a while to figure out what was going on. Do you know?
