l964 Ford Commander 6000 - won't budge forward-backward

When I last baled, tractor decided not to move forward or backward----engine is running fine.Have an idea that it could be the transmission or maybe something with the axel, or rearend..
I have it in the shop and have investigated some but have not come up with the solution.
would really appreciate your thoughts on this matter.
