We have a 4000 74 model the tractor is very strong for its size, we pull 2-16'' plows with it. It just seems to walk away with them. A 4000 is a very good deal for a tractor they are very reliable and ours will start right up even in very cold temperatures when our others will not $5000 sounds like a very good deal if it is in good shape we have been offered $8500 for ours by my local dealer but I would not sell it because I bought it new and know I would never find another one
