Ford 4000

Hello,
i just got an offer from a neighbor to buy his ford 4000 w/ loader to haul some logs around on land i just bought. tractor is a 1969 that runs and looks in good shape. I trst him that he wouldnt sell me a lemon and he says the only thing wrong is the power stering pump is slow. He is asking 5000 for it and was wondering if the price sounds about right to you folks or if their is any thing I should be wary about with this model? I have never owned a tractor so Im a bit in the dark. It has about 1500 hours on it.....Thanks in advance!
