I started driving my Dad's Farmall H at 7 years old - on the flat with him on it - of course, progressed like so many, very fast and by 10 could handle the tractor chores by myself with Dad or an uncle on the hay wagon...the hillsides took until about age 14 and then it was still not a good situation. Dad always said "....it's not your ability or capability I doubt, it's your JUDGEMENT!" Old now, I know exactly what he meant, God Bless him!
