The last connection you want to make to a chunck of iron fram, so you're not quite bt the battery, and the spark is a little bit away from it. They are not fun when they blow. I hopped on our 960 one day, turned on the switch, hit the starter, & BLAM. Lost my hearing for 3 seconds, battery acid dripping down everywhere, plasic pieces floating around, tore the whole top off the battery. Be careful.
