The 6015-J is the casting number, not the serial number. It's a 172 cid industrial engine, and could have been used in anything from a water pump on a Fire engine to a blower on an asphalt truck. For tractor use I would normally block off the fuel pump with a blanking plate. Your stock motor would be the EAF-6015 casting. AS far as working on it it is the same motor as stock.
