Tractor prices vary considerably nationwide. I would think that in most parts of the country you should be able to find a tractor with a 3-pt for less than $3K. Sometimes you have to look for quite awhile, so you need to be patient. In my area, Western WA, I have seen a IH 300U, which I bought, A Massey 44, and a few others for under $3K. Check your local advertising rag, out here it is the Little Nickel Classifieds, most areas have a similar paper. Also, you can check the Internet for tractors, but they are often out of your area. Another place to look is farm auctions.
