did you ck the carb inside it sounds very simaler to the proublem we had with our AC WD we replaced the carb with a rebuilt one. and still had the proublem. after much agravation I puled the carb apart and it had a bunch of corsion in it. cleaned it up and it worked fine untill the next year and the same thing happend. same routine more agravation untill I took it apart again and cleaned it. Now when I put it up for the winter I run a little oil in the carb through the line and that seemed to help. may not be your proublem though, it was ours. just an idea Good Luck
