Let's add it up. Less agriculture in the country and more people = have to buy food somewhere else or we don't eat. Economy drives all politics and now the dependence is on capitol companies to make stock go up so all the wheels turn. Our country isn't near as dependant on agriculture as we used to be altough 1 out of 6 people work in it. I see our largest problem coming later when the world gets more hungry and the world economy is having trouble keeping up with the inbalance of population and food. Environment will eventually correct itself. We can't outsmart nature.
