Sod, go back and read the posts, again. What if he/she drives a SUV (especially a Mercedes)? What if he builds a $ 300,000 home? What if he makes his living as a "professional" in the city? I would like to, in the next couple of years, buy 10 or 20 acres of farm land (we can't afford to buy 160 acres), hopefully next to other farms, build a nice home and raise some critters and food. However, by the criteria some identified, they would never get to know their new neighbors (us), regardless of our political and environmental views, because of their biases! They would never learn that my wife and I spent 60 years combined, in the USAF, are war veterans, raised on poor farms, worked our way through college (I worked 40 hours a week and was a full time student and paid off my college loans 5 years AFTER my SECOND COMBAT TOUR in SEAsia) and EARNED our advanced degrees in night school and on weekends. We saved and scrimped and now want some space and freedom, just like you. But, if you can't get by the "Yuppie" B.S. you will never get to know what other people are worth and most importantly, you will pass up a wonderful opportunity to PERSUADE THEM that YOUR values are important to THEM, too, or find out if they are compatible. Be smart: be advocates for your interests, not hostile asses. And, incidentally, my wife and I both shoot frequently, straight, and accurately: .45, .454 Cassull, .357, 9 mm, 7mm and .340 WBY mags, 12 gage, .30-06.

When Push Comes to Shove - by Dave Patterson. When I was a “kid” (still am to a deree) about two I guess, my parents couldn’t find me one day. They were horrified (we lived by the railroad), my mother thought the worst: "He’s been run over by a train, he’s gone forever!" Where did they find me? Perched up on the seat of the tractor. I’d probably plowed about 3000 acres (in my head anyway) by the time they found me. This is where my love for tractors started and has only gotten worse in my tender 50 yrs on this “green planet”. I’m par
