I appolagize for not being more clear, was pressed for time. I converted tractor from 6volts to 12volts.I have had tractor running once. The dealer called manufacturer of coil and they said that the coil didnt need a resistor, But dealer told me that I should put one in line and if it would not put a strong enough spark that I could try it without it. these little coils are not cheap to just burn one up,I have a 12vol.alt. on tractor.also noticed plugs might be a bit carbened up, thought I would try changing them out and making sure I am getting fire. apreciate any comments.
