I should have added that you never, never pull anyplace on the tractor except for the drawbar. If you try to pull with a chain around the axle, or with the hydraulic lift on the back, you are likely to end up with the front of the tractor comming up and the whole thing rolling over on you. People are tempted to try stuff like this when pulling stumps or rocks out of the ground as it tends to lift the object up and out of it's hole, don't do it though.
