sounds like you got a stuck relief valve there should be an inspection plate on the side of the transmision so you can get to the relief valve over the time it has been setting the relief valve has gumed up causing it to stick in a closed position you might haft to remove it and soke it in some kerosene and then take something and push it open a few times to get it working again. now it will take some hand pressure to open it
