We plowed 80 acres last fall with antique tractors. We started about 10 in the morn and finished up about 5.30 . The man that was host had a cook out at noon brats, hotdogs, chili,pop, some beer , for the ones who thought they needed it. Everyone had afun day it brought back alot of great memories. I especially like your comments about the smell of dirt. The other thing I had forgot about was the little field mice running down the furrow trying to get out of the way of that old rubber tire bearing down on him.I think the newest tractor there was a 720 deere.Next year he said he was going to restrict it to nothing bigger than 3 bottom plow I think we had 20 tractors in the field at one time. Earthmaster Project Progress Just a little update on my Earthmaster......it's back from the dead! I pulled the head, and soaked the stuck valves with mystery oil overnight, re-installed the head, and bingo, the compression returned. But alas, my carb foiled me again, it would fire a second then flood out.
