I have owned a 6 foot kk since 1995. I have only replaced the belt once. Regarding cleaning, the cover only has 2 bolts and comes right off and can be hosed off. On toro decks they have 3 plates and up to 8 bolts and are difficult to clean. Have no problems with kk, grease fittings are easy to get to, blades come off easy, they come off clockwise, flat tires are easy to fix since the inside rim comes off. For the money they are good.
