If the engine is stuck, I would try to try and break it free before taking it apart. The best luck I have had was by filling the cylinders with diesl fuel or kerosine, thru the spark plugs and leaving it soak for a while, sometimes as long as two weeks, and than taking a bar on the flywheel and trying to pry either way to loosen it up.If all that fails and you need to take it apart you can get the block out with the pistons in it. Just unhook the rod ends off the crank, disconnect the block bolts and slide it forward. Make sure you get some help as the block and pistons are going to be heavy. I have taken them apart like this before. Just takes a little patience and weasaling to get it out.
