Is 8N Right Choice??

I am looking for a a small, dependable tractor to do work around our horse farm, mainly loading/spreading manure, pasture mowing, grading. I was thinking of an 8N if I can find one. I am interested mainly in performance and not asthetics...i.e. the tractor has to earn its keep. I was told by a 8N owner that for loader work the 8N was a bit light and under powered. Do folks think thats true?
