I usually put a wooden wedge beween the front axle and front housing on both sides to keep engin from tilting when seperated. Block front and back of rear wheels and put on brake. Put jack stand under trans. side of split with a jack beside it to adjust height. Put floor jack under engine or use an engine crane to support while seperating being careful not to let it fall on you. When you get it far enought to replace the clutch block both wheels and under engine to stabilize while working. Be careful not to let fall and injure you. You can reverse the procedure if you prefer to move the rear of the tractor.
