Massey Ferguson 40 (MF40)

I have a MF40 which previously had a back hoe
fitted. The 3PL now is extremely slow when it
works, if at all. Can anyone tell me what has
been done to stop the 3PL working while the
back hoe was fitted and how to re-instate it?
Any ideas would be appreciated.
