The guys below are right - the more load you carry, the more pressure you need. If you look at your sidewall again, you will see that there is a maximum load specification that goes with that 75 psi. Charts of pressure vs. load for different tires are available. If you need that info, start with Carlisle. Definitely do not run 50 psi as a ballpark and expect your tires to perform safely with a load.
