I have 10 acres of property in the mountains in western Maryland. We live in Michigan but will be building a vacation home there. Currently I pay someone to cut and harvest the hay(?) that grows. When the house is done I want to be able to cut it myself on a more regular basis. I want to get an antique tractor, preferably a Farmall to do this with but don't know exactly what to look for. Seems to me a sickle mower might work best rather than a belly mower. Anybody have any suggestions? Probably cheaper in the long run just to have someone else do it but this is my only excuse to get some old iron and have a place to run it. Thanks for the help.
