Open the bleeder screws on the pump or loosen the line from the filter housing to the injection pump. On most tractors the fuel transfer pump has a manual lever for pumping fuel. Do this until the air is purged. If you can do it, it helps to prefill the filters before installation. NEVER use ether on a diesel engine, not only can it damage the motor, it can cause your engine to become an addict to the stuff, like dope to a "drughead". If you use the starter to prime the engine, avoid long cranking periods on the starter motor. Let it cool off between sessions. Be patient, it will crank if get all the air out. Good luck..Doug in TX
