I agree with JD70jim in all he said. If you want a tractor just for work, you could find a cheaper tractor, but if you are like me, and you like the old tractors you can't miss with that 420. They are a desireable tractor. However, I went with the Oliver Super 55, even harder to find parts I believe, but I like the Oliver line after reading up about them. One thing is, with that loader you need powersteering, not sure how many 420s came with it. If it doesn't have power steering you won't like using that loader much, also, the front end will most likely have excessive wear. Is the one you have a standard, or adjustable front? The standards are not as desireable and cost should reflect it.
