Brad-I admire your since of courage to keep the farm going!! I farm in n/central IN. There were Ag classes in my school but I never took any of them. My parents never farmed so I started on my own. I worked for many friends and Large farmers in my area to learn the trade. Farming is in your blood, as in mine. I have no formal Education and sure wish I did. I would work with your granparents and get your formal education, It will make you a more rounded person, will help you understand all new the policies, social, and mental aspects of life. Agriculture will continue to get more complicated as time goes on. I wish you luck. Life will be tough but your desire will carry you. Don"t give up!! Bill Appleton

Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard. From the engine number, it was found that this Major was produced late 1946. It was almost complete but had various parts that would definitely need replacing.
