So, for me it comes down to fuel. If there is still the right type of fuel around, and if the EPA allows the machines to run, they will still be around in 50 years.

I see the simpler machines through the 1990's being collected. I think after computers & plastic is intoduced, those models will not be so well collected. The plastic & wiring & computers just can't weather 50 years of sitting around.
