I don't know the laws over your way but you can land-fill tires here if they are chopped into pieces under 16". I've sawzalled my bias-plys and gotten rid of all I can that way. Otherwise, paint NO HUNTING on em and hang them from every fence post you own. As far as the batts. go does your county ever hold an amnisty day to get rid of old paint, etc.?? I took the limit to ours 2 yrs. in a row. When they tightened up the laws around here, some people took to throwing the stuff out on the secondary roads. Sure ticks me off to see that. I pick up 1 or 2 tires every month or so on our stretch of road just to try to keep ahead of those idiots.
