Thanks Curt...you hit the nail on the head as far as play in other components goes...we do see there is play in the pittman arm...(vertically)...but this is only after the slack has been taken out by turning the wheel (about 2 thirds of a turn)..which makes it kinda dicy...like NASCAR where ya gotta anticipate a turn half a mile before you get there...as far as the stuck valve goes...we went straight to the shaft on the spool valve...tapped it with a brass hammer..(this was before we posted asking for help)...we were just hoping there was some alchemy that would help...without tearing the valve body apart...thanx again.
