Thanks fellas for the tips. The reason that I believe that it was 12 v positive ground is based on a wiring diagram found in the Operators Manual that is slightly newer than my tractor. Since there seems to be little to put it back, I might just make it right. It does have an original Delco generator that is coupled to the power steering pump. I definately do not want to fry that! I just bought the machine (I own another 550 that is far from correct). I plan to put into this one what I learned from the first.
