Yeah, Brad, the air turns - probably not the same speed as the tire. This would be like the coriollis (SP?) effect that provides the trade winds on earth. Ramrmber too, that the tire is moving in a horizontal direction too - this will cause the air to move, rotationally. Probably not a big deal, as far as things happening in and around your tractor, but interesting to contemplate! Stan, the rubber is in such small shreads, that they are smaller than pencil erasures. Blow away, wash away, etc. Really, if you consider the miles you get off a tire, the rubber wear is pretty small, on a per mile basis.
