John Deere 530 power steering

When turning steering wheel left or right, the wheels will pulsate at about the 11 & 1 O'Clock positions. Sometimes when left idling the front wheels will turn themselves to full right position. Replaced check valves which helped the pulsation, but now acts as though it has no power assist from full left or right when returning to center. Steers normally from center to full turn to stop. Help - suggestions, referrals, or prayers.
