1957 Ford 600

I have the chance to buy a 1957 Ford 600. I know it has a 5 speed transmission which is obvious, (so it is at least a model 650). I don't know if it has a live PTO(which would make it a model 660). I have not heard it run yet....The owner is in the process of getting it running. What is a sure way of telling if it has a live PTO, without it running.....with it running? Thanks...
