Yup, think about a secondary heat source for when you want to warm up the air more quickly. Since it won't be used all that much it could be an undersized or not normally cost efficient method. ie a small electric baseboard heater would be a decent choice. We house sit for some people that have underfloor heat in the house. They've only got it on the first floor and its a real challenge to change the temp of the house. I used just a small electric heater as a supplement and it made it easier to warm up the house.
