Some John Deere B Questions.

Hey All.
I just bought a 1949 John Deere B that has been sitting for 2 years.Is there anything special I should do before I fire it up...or anything I should look at? I know this is a silly question but where are the oil drains, fills and checks on the engine and trans? Is there a compression release of any sort(its elec. start) This is my first Deere(plenty if IH's and AC's though)and any help would be great.Thanks, Ben
