concerning your uneven firing problem,probably 99% of your problem is incorrect spark plugs!!!! John Deere 2 cyl. will not run properly on anything but A C c88l plugs. We have been down that road before. We have rebuilt carbs and dist and mags< nothing solved the problem except A/C plugs!!!
