Rick, and all those that gave advice about hooking an auxiliary valve system to an Oliver 1850 (I posted the question about 1 week ago). I finally had time to go back and work on the tractor and I found my error. The aux. valve system WAS set up as a closed system and thus the oil would not circulate when the 3/8ths plug was inserted in the passage (I did have the return line hooked up, but with the closed system the oil would not return). I replaced the "closed system" plug in the aux. valve body with an "open system" plug and now the valves work fine! Thanks for the info and assistance! Chris
