I second the recommendation on the Republic, MO. show. Has a featured manufacturer each year and all the tractors and steam you could ever look at in one day. Shade if readily available on the grounds. Good amount of venders at the flea market area. Super tractor pull. May not be as big as you have seen before, but is big enough for me to keep me interested. Also may want to try out the Pioneer Havest Fiesta in Ft. Scott, KS. Very small according to some shows, but still a fairly good showing of steam and tractors with a very good showing of vendors. Would be a good day trip as Sat. is the main day for events. Features an antique tractor pull on Sat. night and classic tractor pull on Sunday afternoon. Of course this is just my opinion, I could be wrong.
