I would sugest the Rock River Thresheree on Labor day weekend. Our 4 day show starts Aug 29 and goes until Sept 1. Last year we had 22 steam engines and 523 tractors. Quite a few gas engines too. Working sawmill, blacksmith shop, wood wright, shingle mill,plowing(12gang), corn binding, shreading, shelling. We have a big Museum of industry with steam engines(our biggert has a 22 foot flywheel), large diesel engines, a Fairbanks engine display (both large and small)and a line shaft machine shop. Also steam caliope. One of our biggest attractions is the steam driven Pile Driver. We also have a narrow gauge steam locomotive giving rides. Many other things too. It happens that i am the President of the club. You can e-mail me from here or call me, (608)868-7988 for more information. We also offer camping on the grounds http://www.thresheree.org/
