Nebraska Cowman, That right! When I was younger I wore a cap all the time, A result of all the baseball I played. Only compounded by all the gim-me caps I collected. Farmed, Teamed roped, Chased girls(caught some too), Went to Church in them also!! Till the top part of my ears started have crusry skin on them. My barber lady told me her husband had gotten skin cancer from just sort of the same situation. The next day I started back on my coboy hats full time. It took 10 months for my ears to heal up. That was in 1999 even to this day there are times when the tops of my ears are quick-tender. After I have been out for sure-enough long extended times. I have a work straw, and a dress straw for summer. In winter two felts with the same purpose, work & dress. Boys, ya'll better consider that there is ONLY so much sunshine your body can take before It rebels on you, Just like a broncy colt! Oh, Yes by the way I do wear long sleeve shirts. All year round....here in Central Texas...on 105 degree days. My thoughts...... Later, John A.
