Sadly this is the way business is done nowadays. I would rather deal with a business that charges me 50 cents on my bill rather than hide it in the cost of whatever I'm buying. Any type of repair shop, body shop, or salvage yard has to pay a right hefty price to get rid of the waste products. I pay several hundred dollars a year getting rid of old antifreeze, tire fluid and scrap iron, the motor oil and trans fluid I recycle by burning it in my waste oil furnace. You have probably paid this fee many times without even knowing it because it was built in to your bill. At least they were upfront about it. If 50 cents is going to break you, you are in the wrong hobby.
