You sound just like I did at your age, and I still have classic tractor fever BAD. I think it continues to get worse with age! As far as a tractor choice, well I guess that depends on what you are going to do with the tractor when you are done restoring it. If it is one just to have fun with, well then most any will do. The most important thing to do in my opinion is 1. Get your hands on manuals for whatever tractor you decide to restore. 2. Seek advice and assistance from others as you work through your project. 3. Take your time. It's easy to get in a rush with all the excitement, but it's well worth it to do a top notch job the first time. I think either tractor you mentioned would be good. I have an H with a factory wide front and fenders, but 460's are nice tractors as well. Best of luck, and I hope you enjoy tractors as much as I do.
