I am sorry to see so much negativity re. Farm Bureau. Farm Bureau is first and foremost a political action organization. The insurance, marketing, and farm supplies are offered as a service to members, however their life insurance is offered to anyone. Farm Bureau policy is generated at the grass roots level and is the consensus of the members opinions. Insurance companies, to keep their rates low must refuse to cover those individuals they consider a bad risk. Bad driving records are hard to live down. Any company may have an agent whose personality clashes with a client now and then. I have had a lot of experience with Farm Bureau and will stand in defence of it as an organization. I was a county president (two terms), a director (two terms), a state policy development comittee member and a delegate to State and American Farm Buareau meetings. I had insurance on everything, with no problems and good service. I was a dealer for Farm Bureau tires and batterys (Safemark) which were made by General Tire and Exide and they were exellent with a very low adjustment rate. Ed Reynolds
