Amen !! While collectability is nice I bought my tractors for working. They ain't pretty but they are desireable to some. Oliver 550 and AC D10. I bought the 550 after much research and it fits my needs to a TEE. The D10 kinda fell in my lap. Go to the AC archives and query for Mystery AC. On both rigs I had no idea of collectability until I started hanging out on this site some time ago. Like Paul said, get the one you like, make it yours and you will be happy. I know I am. Sorry I cannot offer advise as to price or future potential value because I do not know about JD.
