at 150# you are at UPS's upper limit of what they will pick up and as you have found they want an arm and a leg to do that. your best bet is to try some LTL carriers like ABF,CCX or motor cargo most have web sites in which you can enter your info and get a price quote online and then scedule a pickup once you have chosen a carrier, another option is to look at the hauling schedule site on the left hand of this site and see if anyone there can move your cargo for you,
