I posted what I considered to be a descriptive ad for 2 Oliver 70 parts tractors. The asking price was $450 for both and I explained that they hadn't run in over 20 years, but they were complete. The responses that I got were phenominal. 1. Do they run? 2. Are they wide front ends? Wouldn't a wide front end be worth about $450 alone? 3. Are the tires new? I felt like saying no , but I will put new ones on for you. 4. Will you send pictures? A camera costs $450. 5. Do all serial numbers match? 6. Are the batteries okay on them? 7. Do you want to trade them for a lawn mower? 8. Will you take less? 9. Will you check on shipment to Africa? 10. Etc. Is it just me or do a lot of people out their seriously think they are going to get 2 Oliver 70's for $225 each and drive them home? Maybe I am nuts. Oh well, that's what my wife says anyway....so maybe I am.
