Had my oliver engine rebuilt this winter by a local engine shop. I was going to put the engine back together myself. But as spring got closer I let them put it back together. Fired it up for the first time yesterday and everything seems good except one little thing. The rear main seal is dripping a few drips of oil. This motor was updated several years ago to a full circle seal so its not a cork one. Called the engine shop and told them the problem. They said keep an eye on it and if it still leaks take the engine back out and they'll fix it. Now shouldn't it be there responbility to pull the engine back out to fix there boo bo. Granted i put it in but its nothing i did. If it was a five minute job I wouldn't care but more like a day job. I paid big bucks to have this engine done right the first time to not have to pull it out again. So what do you guys think I should do???? I don't want to be a jerk to them but it's the fact that it is what they did, and i have to invest more time in something that they should be taking care of.

After some research of convert or not, I decided to go ahead, the main reason being that this tractor was a working tractor, not a show tractor (yet). I did keep everything I replaced for the day I do want to restore her to showroom condition.
