If there is a NAPA auto parts store near you, go and get a can of Sea Foam. This product was developed to remove carbon from two-stroke engines. Pour it onto your rings and let it soak overnite. Come back and give them a tap or two with a small hammer and they should come loose. If not, soak them some more. NAPA also has this product in an aerosol can. It is called Deep Creep
