Gison/ward garden tractor hydrostatic transaxle pr

I have 1968 or a 1969 14hp. ward,that I have replaced the engin with a 24hp.Honda.The only way to make this engin fitt after alot of cuting and welding,is with engine power shaf facing the transmition.Now the engin is turning the hydrostatic transaxle clockwise,and it is not building any pressure.another words it not moveing.Is there any part or modification that controls righthand/lefthand configureation to this transmition.
