Guess I am going to be the odd man out here but here goes. I used to have Combined Insurance. I had an accident policy that they used to offer that was a pretty good one. I had a 4 wheeler wreck one year and was in a cast for about 8 months. Was off of work (tool and die/metal stamping) for about 3 weeks and partial work for another month. When I filed a claim the rep came to the shop and talked to me about it. He asked about disability and stuff and I told him that there were a few things that I couldn't do at work untill I got the cast off but it wasn't much. He told me that if there was ONE part of my job that I couldn't perform that Combined considered that as disabled from work and paid me for the entire amount of time that I was under doctors care until he released me fully. I had better luck with them than I have with some other more "reputable " companies. Of course they also stopped sending a salesman around to collect my premium the next year also. I have heard that they no longer offer the coverage that I had but I can't say for sure. I know that for me personally it was one of the most hassle free dealings I hae ever had with any insurance company. This is in Tennessee if that might make a differnce
